Romney Would Have Won With Chris Christie

February 11, 2013

The longer I live, the more baffling some of you who write to me, have become. I am flattered, but I just can’t believe so many of you have become angry because I have been busy with other matters in other parts of the country. But, enough of that personal stuff. Let’s get down to business.

First of all, the fake, phony, pretender will deliver his State of the Union address February 12. It should have been the first state of the union delivered by the victimized Mitt Romney. It would be Mitt Romney if he had chosen someone like Chris Christie as his vice presidential candidate. I know some of you don’t understand why Gov. Christie was so complimentary to Obama in the wake of the Hurricane Sandy devastation. If you are upset with the governor, I can understand that. However, in the political world one must learn to spread a dose of horse manure, especially when you are talking about the chief executive. It goes together. . . Barack, the boastful and that other stuff I just mentioned. If I said no disrespect intended, then I would be guilty of outright phoniness.

At any rate, the reason I think the New Jersey governor would have been more helpful in the campaign than the brilliant Paul Ryan, is simply this. Chris Christie would have attracted a lot of attacks. The people who don’t live in New Jersey or New York, for that matter, don’t understand the beauty of that strategy. The likes of bottom-feeders like Harry Reid attacking Governor Christie with their lies (and don’t forget, just about everything they said about Mitt Romney was slanderous, libelous, and many observers say untrue). Be that as it may, I don’t want to spend time defending something that most of you agree on anyway. But, do let me know if you agree or disagree with my contention about Gov. Christie being a lightning rod and forcing the lying people in the Democrat Party to waste their lies.
