Stop Blaming George W. Bush!

June 21, 2012

At the risk of once again being called a racist, how in the world did someone like Sheila Jackson Lee get elected to Congress and keep getting re-elected? It is simple, as simple as she is. They live 24 hours a day, seven days a week obsessed with their one and only subject. . . race! Anything that goes wrong, anything that exposes Barack the Boaster, anything that suggests an inability to do the job by Eric Holder, or the supreme leader himself, is really not Holder’s fault, it is not really Obama’s fault. It can’t be any lacking on their part. After all, who was president before Barack the Boastful took over to save the country? Why we all know that only a white man could botch things up so badly. We all know that any black man or woman who tries to right the ship of state is operating under a handicap. That handicap is the legacy left by that racist scoundrel — President George W. Bush.

Of course, Jackson Lee is only trying to serve her constituents. After all, the congresswoman must be astoundingly intelligent. Isn’t she the one who, when she saw the telecast of films taken on the planet Mars, asked, “Where is the American flag? I thought they planted the flag there. I thought the astronauts left the American flag there.” The only problem with that observation is the moon is millions of miles from Mars. Would somebody please tell the esteemed public servant that it was the moon, not Mars, that man walked on in 1969. I don’t want to be disrespectful, but outside of being black, what else does Jackson Lee have to commend her to that job of sitting in the House of Representatives, making about $200,000 in salary and getting all those fringe benefits that most Americans, both black and white, would give everything they have to get that job. Of course, Jackson Lee isn’t the only African-American in Congress. But, outside of Cong. Allen West of Florida and maybe one or two others, all the rest are where they are because they are lucky to have the right appearance.

Rep. Charles Rangel is a classic example of the person who goes to Congress and stayed there for 30 years, cheating on his taxes and lying about his wealth in order to get special privileges. If he didn’t have the proper “look” he would have gone to jail years ago. Somebody has got to say these things and I guess it has to be me. I know what some of you are thinking, and that is all right. I sleep better at night knowing that I had the courage to write what most people think anyway. Straight ahead!
