America Is My Country!
August 4, 2010
I don’t know what is wrong with this country, but I am ashamed of my once beloved great Republic.
First of all, our commander in chief, President Obama, is himself an alien, as Dorothy Rabinowitz points out in her splendid Wall Street Journal column.
Also, why do we not only allow the mass murderer of those 13 American service personnel on the Fort Hood base inTexas to not be punished yet, but he is still receiving his monthly Army check as a major for $6,000 per month!
And to add insult to injury, the alleged perpetrator, Nidal Hasan, has the unmitigated gall to complain over his treatment!
Any self respecting nation would not allow this to happen.
What I am talking about now is merely one glaring example of how feckless we have become as a once proud and brave Republic.
There are many other examples of our fecklessness. How about the New York city “leaders,” who say it would be an act of bigotry to not permit that obscene mosque to be built near ground zero of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Let me also remind my fellow Americans that we are spending billions of dollars and endangering American lives by sending helicopters with food, medical supplies, and Lord only knows what else, to flood-ravaged Pakistan — a nation that is aiding and abetting the Taliban and al Qaida!
Please, explain to me why we have no self respect as a sovereign nation!
I suspect the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other enemies of America have succeeded in laying on most of us a guilt trip.
We are becoming the first nation in the history of the world to commit national suicide. If I had another country, I would move there.
But, this is my country, I love it, and I guess I will die with it!
