Glenn Beck’s Lack of Candor
October 26, 2010
I don’t begrudge Glenn Beck his meteoric success. But, I think somebody has to say it, so it will have to be me.
What I must say is, “Glenn Beck, if you are sincere about wanting to restore the country to what you believe the Founding Fathers intended it to be, then accept the logic of telling your rabid followers to vote Republican in the forthcoming congressional election.”
Glenn, you keep saying, in your self-serving manner, “Both parties are to blame for the mess we are in.” You cannot criticize the Democrats without the inevitable comment that you also criticize the GOP.
If what you say is true, then why should anybody vote at all?
If both parties are equally guilty, then why should it matter who wins the election?
Therefore, let us save the money it costs to have a national election and just tell whoever is in office, “Stay right where you are because there is no difference whatsoever in our two political parties.”
Glenn, you know better, and I have too much respect for your intelligence to believe otherwise.
However, because your “act” is to be above partisan politics, you keep telling your audience it doesn’t make any difference and you blame both parties.
But, we all know it is the Democrats that have to be defeated at the polls in this forthcoming election.
You surely know it because you have pointed out the many communist and anti-American revolutionaries Barack Obama appointed to be czars and officials of one stripe or another.
There is no doubt in my mind that you do not hold the Republicans responsible for these obvious dangerous policies.
So, why don’t you just come out and say it? Say what must be said!
And that statement is, in the election on Tuesday, November 2, we must elect the Republican candidate in every state and in every congressional district.
That is our only hope and you know it, Glenn Beck!
